About The Position

This role supports clients with tasks across accounting and finance functions. The position may function in various capacities, including Accounting Manager, Controller, or Project Manager, and manages multiple client stakeholders. It oversees month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing; prepares accounting reports; performs due diligence; supports SEC reporting; and resolves complex accounting issues. The role also assists clients with implementing new accounting pronouncements, including ASC 606 and ASC 842, and handles other duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a focus in Accounting is preferred.
• Five or more years of related experience required.
• Experience working with public, private, or private equity companies required.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP required.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
• Technical skills commensurate with level of experience.
• Demonstrate professionalism, including under pressure.
• Be a team player who contributes knowledge and asks for help when needed.
• Be a fast learner and work ethically and effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with customers at all levels of customer and internal organizations.
• Continually strive to improve interpersonal, management, functional, and technical skills.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Function in various capacities, including Accounting Manager, Controller, or Project Manager for clients.
• Manage multiple client stakeholders simultaneously.
• Prepare miscellaneous accounting reports.
• Participate in ad hoc projects.
• Oversee all aspects of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
• Perform due diligence procedures for clients.
• Assist clients with SEC reporting.
• Resolve complex accounting issues.
• Assist clients with implementing new accounting pronouncements, including ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Perform other duties as required.
