About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced Accounting team. This individual will play a key role in supporting the company’s day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and audit preparation. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, maintain compliance with internal controls and policies, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting function. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 4–5 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP/IFRS principles and experience with consolidated financial reporting
  • Strong analytical skills with sharp attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Nice To Haves

  • CPA designation or close to completion preferred
  • a mix of Big 4 and industry experience is a plus
  • Experience with NetSuite, Google Sheets, SQL, and AI-assisted tools such as Claude and ChatGPT is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own various month-end close activities such as bank reconciliations, lease accounting, accruals, commissions, and more to support accurate financial reporting under US GAAP in NetSuite
  • Own the employee expense process, including reimbursements, policy compliance, and enforcement
  • Serve as a key contributor to external audits by independently preparing audit-ready reconciliations and schedules and liaising with auditors
  • Conduct monthly flux analysis to identify trends, variances, and their business drivers, translating findings into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Serve as backup for accounts payable and corporate credit card operations in Ramp, including vendor maintenance, bill processing, expense coding, approval routing, reconciliation, and compliance monitoring
  • Utilize and optimize accounting systems and AI-enabled tools to enhance data accuracy, streamline reconciliations, automate routine tasks, and improve reporting workflows
  • Independently drive accounting initiatives and ad hoc projects, including preparing technical memos, building reconciliations and workbooks, and assisting with balance sheet clean-up as needed
