About The Position

Snapscale is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to work on a hybrid set-up to oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic business decisions. This role goes beyond routine accounting tasks and involves financial analysis, compliance, and team support.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5–7+ years of accounting experience
Strong experience with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle NetSuite )
Advanced financial analysis and reporting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Leadership and effective communication skills
Problem-solving and critical thinking
Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

CPA certification is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as GAAP or IFRS
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Review journal entries for accuracy and completeness
Lead and manage closing processes
Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial reports
Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts
Perform variance analysis between actual results and projections
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial policies
Coordinate with internal and external auditors
Supervise and support junior accounting staff
Provide guidance and training as needed
Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in accounting processes and systems
