About The Position

The Senior Accountant prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles. This role provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget. The Senior Accountant analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements, and reports, and begins to influence department’s strategy. Decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components are made without direction, and the incumbent exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
• 5+ years of accounting/ finance experience
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain accuracy in a work environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present to leadership
• Demonstrates intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to develop and clearly present financial reports
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in Business Administration
• Prior experience working on projects within a professional setting preferred
• Proficiency in SQL (as defined by the ability to understand how the code is built; ad-hoc building/querying and data therein) and/or comparable programming languages
• Essbase, Power BI, SmartView
