SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

The Senior Accountant works as a member of the Finance Team and is responsible for managing all accounting transactions of assigned cost centers according to GAAP, preparing budget forecasts, and reviewing, analyzing, and publishing financial statements in time. This role also handles monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and 5-7 years of accounting experience and knowledge; or 8 years prior accounting experience and knowledge may be substituted
- Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills required
- Knowledge of Great Plains Preferred
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
- Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions of assigned cost centers according to GAAP
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Review, analyze and publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Produce, review and analyze financial statements
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Perform audit
- Reconcile general ledger accounts
