About The Position

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing monthly financial statements and various detailed analyses, managing and performing monthly financial closings, including reconciliation of accounts, and managing, tracking, and analyzing capital investment proposals, Fixed Assets, and depreciation schedules. This role also involves month-end reporting duties, preparing and presenting weekly financial performance, assisting with daily cash management reporting, and supporting Accounts Payable & Receivables management. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will aid in the development of site-level forecasts and budgets, facilitate customer relations, assist with audits, and lead internal control compliance. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs, including special projects.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in a manufacturing accounting environment.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel.
  • Full understanding of complete accounting cycle in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Must be able to work in a flexible, team environment.
  • Demonstrate critical decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Strong work ethic, high energy, and excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Able to function at a high level in an ambiguous environment, making critical judgments and assumptions while waiting for essential inputs.
  • Able to demonstrate integrity and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
