About The Position

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing core accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. This role requires a CPA with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in month-end close, financial analysis, and continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (master’s preferred).
  • CPA license (required).
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High integrity and accountability.
  • Attention to detail with strategic thinking.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Review balance sheet accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
  • Support tax-related activities in coordination with external advisors.
  • Identify and implement process improvement.
  • Provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
