About The Position

The Senior Accountant is responsible for the following: preparation of complex journal entries and account reconciliations as well as resolving reconciling items establishing processes to prevent further occurrences of out of balance conditions working with other departments to obtain proper documentation for subsidiary records and addressing reconciling items providing their leader feedback to improve quality and accuracy of financial statements and supporting efforts to produce timely and accurate financial statements supporting their leader by providing other staff members leadership and technical assistance when appropriate working on a number of projects and ad-hoc requests on a routine basis. prioritizing own work independently

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
  • Well-rounded experience as an accountant required. Strong accounting experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.
