About The Position

We have an amazing opportunity for an energetic, analytical, and detail-oriented accountant to join our team and push renewable energy forward. In this role, you will work closely with Wunder’s Director of Accounting to manage all financial operations in a rapidly scaling financial technology company. Specifically, you will be responsible for conducting monthly close, preparing monthly financial statements, developing budgets and analyzing spend trends, managing accounts payable, supporting annual audits, addressing technical accounting aspects, wrangling and manipulating large amounts of data, and helping define our financial processes and controls. In addition to corporate accounting, you will also be managing millions of dollars in commercial-scale solar assets spread across multiple entities. Requirements

  • CPA
  • 3–7+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Background ideally contains a mix of corporate accounting, renewable energy, and financial services
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Auditor’s mindset, always eager to “figure things out”
  • Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to juggle changing goals and priorities
  • Strong project management abilities
  • Understand the importance of accuracy, value reporting, and hold yourself to high standards when it comes to precision
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and can quickly adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, creative startup environment with people who are passionate about their work and mission

  • Find new and effective ways to streamline processes and increase efficiency
