About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Senior Accountant to join our growing, mission driven organization. In this fully remote role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and clarity of our financial operations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
  • 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP consolidated financial reporting, foreign exchange, and related technical accounting principles for SaaS companies.
  • Proficiency with accounting systems (NetSuite, Avalara, Concur, or Expensify).
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with financial data.
  • Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, remote-first team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage month end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements and develop and maintain a system of account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and Standard Operating Policies (SOP).
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance reporting quality through effective use of financial systems and automation.
  • Manage Travel & Expense processes and related accounting ensuring compliance with Travel policy.
  • Maintain and evaluate general ledger activity to ensure transactions are recorded correctly and in accordance with SOP.
  • Assist with annual audits (internal and external) by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Work closely with Assistant Controller and outside tax advisors in preparing support schedules required for US and foreign tax returns.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with FP&A, Operations, and Leadership on financial matters and business decisions.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing clear, data driven financial insights.
