About The Position

KeyMark is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations of the company. This position reports to the Accounting Manager and is a hybrid role (1-2 days in the office) based in our Liberty, SC office.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting highly preferred
3+ years in a similar role where you have developed a solid understanding of month-end close processes and standard account reconciliations
Experience with audits and compliance
Advanced Excel and accounting system proficiency
Familiarity with multi-entity accounting structures, including international subsidiaries

Nice To Haves

Software/SaaS industry experience supporting revenue recognition
NetSuite experience
Experience integrating acquisitions
Experience in accounting rules specific to a software reseller as well as a software OEM
CPA preferred or actively pursuing

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly journal entries and supporting schedules as part of the monthly, quarterly and annual month-end close processes
Maintain NetSuite general ledger and perform account reconciliations
Process timely billing and review AR to ensure collections
Ensure commissions are calculated accurately and paid timely each month
Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards, including ASC 606
Support integration of acquisitions into standard KeyMark accounting processes
Identify process improvements and support operational efficiency
