About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Accountant. This is a hands-on role with responsibilities that include financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and month-end close procedures. The position requires a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and strong analytical skills.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience required.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
Strong understanding of internal controls and financial reporting processes.
Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm) preferred.
Experience in a multi-entity and/or multi-national organization preferred.

Responsibilities

Execute assigned components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process in accordance with established timelines.
Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments, supported by appropriate documentation.
Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items timely.
Analyze financial results and prepare variance analyses to support management reporting.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP, including ownership of lease accounting under ASC 842 (ROU assets, lease liabilities, remeasurements, modifications, and disclosures).
Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and related disclosures.
Support external audits by preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
Maintain effective internal controls and ensure adherence to established accounting policies and procedures.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, AP, Legal, and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
