About The Position

Deseret Trust assists in preparing the way for the work of salvation and exaltation by being a trusted partner in providing essential financial resources and fiduciary services. The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing investment and trust accounting activities, supporting financial reporting processes, and contributing to other daily and monthly operational tasks. This role entails a significant amount of operational processing on a daily basis. Successful employees in this position are able to work under pressure to meet daily timelines; balance repetitive tasks while ensuring transactions are recorded accurately; and ensure supporting documentation is in line with established policies. Requirements

Must hold a current temple recommend (if endowed) or be temple worthy as indicated by a certification from an ecclesiastical leader (if not endowed).
Employees are expected to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and Church leaders and live the principles of honesty, integrity, and morality.
Employees serve as role models for members by fulfilling the Church's work with divine guidance.
Maintain a spirit of religious compassion toward others and an attitude of devotion to God.
