About The Position

The Senior Accountant supports the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, and government contract cost accounting activities. The role ensures costs are properly classified as direct or indirect and recorded in accordance with established accounting policies and applicable contract requirements. Responsibilities also include supporting government contract billing, preparing account reconciliations, assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, and maintaining audit readiness for Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) reviews and other financial audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 10 or more years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience supporting audits, financial reporting, and month-end close activities.
• A reliable, responsible attitude and a commitment to quality.

Nice To Haves

• Unanet GovCon experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
