Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of public accounting experience
  • Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
  • Strong understanding of accounting and tax principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
  • Analyze financial information and supporting documentation
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
  • Assist with complex tax engagements and projects
  • Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy
  • Research tax laws and technical issues
  • Assist with tax planning initiatives and projections
  • Identify planning opportunities for clients
  • Support consulting and advisory engagements
  • Stay current on changing tax laws and industry developments
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters
  • Assist clients with information requests and planning discussions
