About The Position

The Senior Accountant will be a cross-functional role supporting the broader Finance & Accounting function, as well as working directly with the operations and delivery teams. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong accounting and systems experience that can work effectively with individuals across the various levels of the organization.

Requirements

3 years relevant experience
Knowledge of and experience with financial reporting systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in hands on capacity
Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to foster a positive environment while promoting a high standard of work product within a team
Ability to work independently and resolve challenges, escalating key issues to leadership as necessary

Nice To Haves

Undergraduate degree in Accounting
Experience using ERP systems
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with SalesForce and NetSuite

Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries to ensure financial records are properly stated in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Calculate, monitor, and adjust cost accruals.
Post and review services revenue.
Prepare reports to analyze and validate service revenue/cost.
Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
Perform other month-end responsibilities as assigned.
Validate and take action on unbilled/deferred revenue balances.
Partner with other members of accounting and operations to resolve billing/invoicing issues.
Work with broader accounting and finance function to assist other processes as needed.
Perform and develop ad-hoc analysis and reporting to inform business decisions.
Participate in and drive process improvements.
Assist with external audit requests.
Perform other duties as assigned.
