About The Position

Acuity Insights is hiring an experienced Senior Accountant to independently own significant areas of the accounting cycle and help strengthen its accounting operations, systems, and processes. The role covers month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, revenue accounting, reconciliations, and audit readiness, while contributing reliable financial and business reporting—including recurring revenue metrics—and accounting insights for budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Reporting to the Controller and working with a small accounting team, the Senior Accountant will investigate complex accounting questions, identify root causes, and resolve issues with sound judgment. The position also contributes to preparing for a new accounting platform, improving workflows, validating and migrating data, and using automation or AI thoughtfully to reduce manual work and make accounting processes more reliable and scalable. It is fully remote and open to candidates anywhere in Canada.
