About The Position
City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their high-growth team in the West Houston area. This is a full-time, stable role with career progression opportunities, focusing on managing all aspects of the accounting process. The company is a nationally recognized brand that provides comprehensive facility solutions. This role involves owning the full accounting cycle from invoicing to vendor payments, A/P and A/R to payroll.
Requirements
- Bachelors' degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
- Four to six years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central preferred.
- Detail oriented task management.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Power BI or Vena is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, vendor payments, banking activity, and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Complete month-end close within five to six business days.
- Prepare monthly income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial dashboards, and reporting.
- Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
