We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong analytical skills and solid experience in financial accounting. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience, experience supporting financial audits, and the ability to collaborate effectively. This role will support the month-end close process, balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, and accounting system testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes.
  • Experience supporting financial audits.
  • Experience using ERP systems, preferably Sage 100.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with international teams, including U.S. stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system implementations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Zuora or subscription billing platforms is preferred.
  • Experience with process improvements or system implementations.
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition or subscription billing environments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Prepare and post journal entries in the ERP system (Sage 100).
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Perform financial analysis and investigate variances or discrepancies.
  • Assist with internal and external financial audits, including preparing supporting documentation and schedules.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for accounting and financial systems.
  • Perform Zuora testing by following test scripts to validate billing and financial data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with U.S.-based finance teams and cross-functional departments to resolve accounting issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of accounting processes, reconciliations, and testing results.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
