About The Position
The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Senior Accountant. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience supporting month-end close, audits, compliance, and SEC filings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Businesses Administration, Accounting, Finance or Information Systems.
- 4+ years' experience in public accounting or corporate accounting
- Ability to evaluate processes and procedures, solve problems, identify improvements and challenge the status quo
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Excel, and large ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP
Nice To Haves
- CPA preferred
- Experience with SEC reporting preferred
- Power Bi experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial results
- Support internal, external, and compliance audits
- Support month-end close and prepare journal entries
- Assist with special projects and improvements
