About The Position
Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant. This role reports to the Senior Accounting Manager and is responsible for various accounting functions related to financial analysis, general ledger reconciliations, internal reporting, and financial statement analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 5-7 years of related accounting experience preferred
- Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to multi-task on various projects
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of company personnel.
Nice To Haves
- CPA license a plus
- Experience with Microsoft D365 preferred
- Experience with Power BI preferred
Responsibilities
- Reconciliation of equipment inventory general ledger related accounts.
- Assist in reconciliation of parts inventory general ledger related accounts.
- Assist in reviewing machine estimates & purchase order receipts of inventory
- Review of divisional financial statements and Equipment profitability
- Prepare and review journal entries during month-end close process.
- Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis
- Review, analyze, and prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations on monthly basis
- Assist with year-end financial audit as required. Compile audit samples as requested by external auditors.
- Create ad-hoc reports / analyze data as requested by management
- Serve as backup for certain accounting functions performed by other members of team
- Other general accounting duties as assigned
