Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 3+ yrs of professional experience
- Big 4 or public / private CPA, parts passed or actively pursuing the CPA exam
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC guidelines
- Intellectually curious approach to the business
- Able to work with various team members across multiple departments
- Excellent verbal communication skills and able to communicate technical concepts to the business
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and manage deadlines
Responsibilities
- Participate in the Review major transactions, including investments, acquisitions and financing arrangements
- Assist the Manager with determining appropriate U.S. GAAP treatment
- Assist with monitoring of changes in GAAP or SEC reporting
- Gain an understanding of new accounting requirements and how they will impact the business
- Assist with training on various topics to regional and corporate departments
- Provide clarification of current accounting requirements to stakeholders
- Partner with financial reporting work to meet corporate deadlines
- Present resolutions to senior management as needed
- Assist with special projects
