Senior Accountant

About The Position
The Senior Accountant will assist the Controller by ensuring the accuracy of financial records, leading month-end close processes, preparing financial statements, and ensuring GAAP compliance. They will also analyze financial data, manage account reconciliations, assist with audits, and often supervise junior staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting
- At least five (5) years of experience as an Accountant
- Possessing advanced knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory standards to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial statements
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Analyze budget-to-actual variances and financial trends
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX and internal controls
- Support audits and regulatory filings
- Mentor junior accountants and assist with training
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and reporting.
