About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join a fast-growing outsourced CFO and bookkeeping firm. This role combines client-facing responsibilities with team oversight, ensuring accurate financial reporting and high-quality service delivery. The Senior Accountant will manage client accounts, lead in-office and offshore staff, and provide analytical insights to help clients achieve their business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience, including supervisory exposure
• Proven experience handling multiple clients/accounts simultaneously
• Proficiency with accounting platforms (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• Strong communication skills, able to explain financial concepts clearly
• Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and highly organized

• CPA (preferred) or strong equivalent background

Responsibilities

• Oversee client portfolios, serving as the primary accounting lead
• Manage daily accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, and reconciliations
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead and mentor a team of 2+ accountants (in-office and offshore)
• Coordinate with auditors, tax professionals, and client stakeholders
• Implement accounting policies and internal controls for efficiency and accuracy
• Contribute ideas and best practices to enhance client service delivery
