About The Position

SkyWater Technology is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team and support the company's growth. This role will be involved in various aspects of operational accounting and financial reporting requirements, and will also work closely with the finance and SEC reporting teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
2+ years in Accounting
Preference for public accounting and technical accounting in industry experience.
U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

CPA license
In-depth understanding of GAAP.
Organized and proactive with an ability to manage multiple activities in a timely manner.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite ERP is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proactive and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

Significant contributor in month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Responsible for capital expenditure tracking and fixed asset management.
Performs accounting for other asset-related activities.
Adherence to SOX control requirements.
Team with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
Prepare and perform preliminary review of balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with financial statement audit, tax audit & compliance, and lender audits.
Other projects as assigned.
Performing other duties as assigned.
