About The Position

This is a full-time, safety-sensitive position for a Senior Accountant in Oklahoma City. The role involves preparing journal entries, assisting in the review and analysis of financial statements, reconciling accounts, and recording various financial entries. The position also supports the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. Any other duties as directed by management may also be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to repetitively use arms, hands and fingers
Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Positive attitude when working with peers
Knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures
Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and 1 chargeable accident within the last three years
Accounting degree required
3 to 5 years of accounting required
Comprehensive understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP

Nice To Haves

Public accounting or industry experience preferred
QuickBooks experience preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries
Assist in reviewing and analyzing financial statements
Reconciling accounts; preparing financial statements
Reconciling bank accounts
Recording journal entries for accounts such as depreciation, prepaid expenses, property tax accruals, payroll accruals, inventory/cost of goods sold entries, etc.
Reviewing financial statements for accuracy
Assist with development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
Any other duties as directed by management.
