About The Position

Stabbert Maritime is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations across its multi-entity organization. The role maintains general ledger integrity through accurate and timely transaction recording, supports month-end reconciliations, and provides backup for payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable as needed. This is an individual contributor role, not a management position; the Senior Accountant is expected to perform the work directly, apply strong technical accounting skills, and help improve team operations. The position is remote, with a preference for working from the Ballard, Washington office four days per month. The Senior Accountant works independently with minimal supervision, exercises sound judgment, and may need to work adjusted hours to meet month-end close and reporting deadlines. A reliable, secure remote work setup with high-speed internet is required. Stabbert Maritime is a family-owned company with a legacy spanning over 50 years and two generations. It provides solutions and support services to clients in offshore scientific research, subsea, defense, and ship repair industries.
