About The Position

We’re seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing corporate accounting team. In this role, you’ll build hands-on experience across core accounting functions—month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting—while working closely with department leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to grow in a dynamic, multi-location retail environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Strong analytical background
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment and independently
  • Excellent time management skills to balance multiple deadlines and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • High proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, data manipulation, etc.)
  • Ability to keep a high degree of confidentiality of information
  • Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills, as this position will interact with a variety of colleagues across departments and financial backgrounds

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience working in a multi-location omnichannel retail environment or similar business as a Staff Accountant
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Prior ERP systems experience
  • Familiarity with MS Queries or similar data tools
  • Knowledge of tax compliance and regulation

Responsibilities

  • Active participation in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Coordinate with leadership across locations and departments on financial matters.
  • Involvement in audits, including preparing and reviewing financial information.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in day-to-day accounting workflows
  • Perform financial analysis, identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives as requested by senior leadership, providing financial expertise and insights.
