About The Position

Capture One is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing US organization in New York City. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of Capture One US Inc., ensuring financial processes are accurate, compliant, and scalable. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with the global finance team and external partners, playing a key role in month-end close, reconciliations, tax compliance, and process improvements to support the financial foundation of the US B2B business. Requirements

  • Experience as a Senior Accountant, Accountant, or similar finance professional, with a strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting principles.
  • Hands-on experience with month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
  • Experience supporting sales and use tax compliance.
  • Experience collaborating with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a growing environment.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with an international team.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Experience working in a software, technology, SaaS, or international company is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Owning day-to-day accounting operations for Capture One US Inc.
  • Managing accounts receivable, including customer invoicing and collections follow-up.
  • Managing accounts payable, including vendor invoice processing and payments.
  • Maintaining vendor and customer master data and supporting documentation.
  • Preparing and reviewing bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of differences across group entities.
  • Supporting and executing monthly and annual close activities.
  • Supporting sales and use tax compliance activities across US jurisdictions.
  • Coordinating with external tax advisors on federal, state, and local income tax compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Supporting statutory, compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Maintaining finance process documentation and internal controls.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across finance and the wider business to ensure smooth financial operations.
