About The Position

Via Mobility Services is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role is responsible for assisting with month-end close processes, preparing invoices, and fixed asset management. The Senior Accountant will also reconcile balance sheet accounts, prepare necessary workpapers, and ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of the general ledger. Additionally, this position will cross-train and serve as a backup for payroll, accounts payable, and other departments as needed. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
Minimum of six (6) years hands-on accounting experience
Knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and general accounting procedures (General Ledger, Balance Sheet, Financial statements, etc.)
Experience in payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable
Strong aptitude for working with numbers
Proficient with Excel, creating and working with intermediate spreadsheets
Ability to appropriately prioritize tasks; strong organizational skills; high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to self-manage and work independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with Sage Intacct & Paycom preferred
