About The Position
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant for a full-time, on-site role in Boca Raton, FL. This position is responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance, payroll-related activities, and supporting client service initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong experience in accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Knowledge of tax preparation and compliance for individuals and business entities.
- Experience with bookkeeping, payroll processing, and related filings.
- Proficiency in accounting software, tax software, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Boca Raton, FL and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Public accounting or professional services experience preferred.
- CPA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and payroll-related filings.
- Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Communicate with clients, address inquiries, and support tax planning efforts.
- Assist in improving accounting procedures and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance service quality and client satisfaction.
