About The Position

The Senior Accountant will join the global finance team and help ensure accurate, timely month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, audit support, and compliance. The role owns key aspects of monthly and quarterly close activities, supports reporting and consolidation across multiple entities and currencies, and works with finance leadership and cross-functional and regional teams. It also contributes to internal controls, statutory reporting, process improvement, ERP enhancements, and accounting projects as the business grows.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Seven years of progressive accounting experience.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience supporting public company audit standards.
Expertise in month-end close, account reconciliations, consolidations, and financial reporting.
Experience with ASC 606, ASC 842, stock-based compensation, and software capitalization.
Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite.
Advanced proficiency in Excel.
Ability to adapt quickly to new systems, processes, and accounting guidance.
Strong organizational skills, discipline, and attention to detail, including accuracy under tight deadlines.
Proactive approach to identifying issues, streamlining processes, and driving continuous improvement.
Strong critical-thinking skills to analyze complex accounting matters and provide sound recommendations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across global and cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

CPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
Experience in public accounting, a listed multinational, or a technology company is ideal.

Responsibilities

Own and execute key aspects of the monthly and quarterly close process.
Prepare and review balance sheet and P&L schedules, ensuring accuracy and proper cut-off across multiple entities and currencies.
Perform variance analysis and resolve discrepancies across general ledger accounts.
Collaborate with other departments and regional finance teams to ensure timely and accurate data collection.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and supporting documentation for management and group consolidation.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies.
Support preparation of audit-ready financial statements and footnote disclosures.
Coordinate and respond to external audit requests and inquiries.
Prepare audit-ready workpapers supporting journal entries, reconciliations, and significant estimates.
Assist in drafting and reviewing financial statement disclosures, including ASC 606, ASC 842, and stock-based compensation.
Support the design, implementation, and documentation of internal controls over financial reporting in alignment with public standards.
Monitor compliance with internal accounting policies and company procedures across global entities.
Partner with finance leadership to support global statutory reporting requirements, including IFRS-to-US-GAAP adjustments.
Track and resolve audit findings, recommending process changes to strengthen controls and mitigate risk.
Identify and drive improvements in close timelines, reporting accuracy, and automation opportunities.
Assist with ERP system enhancements, chart-of-accounts management, and workflow updates.
Participate in accounting system integration and process scaling as the business grows.
Support accounting projects related to new product launches, global expansion, and tax or legal structure changes.
