About The Position

Legends Global is seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong accounting professional to join our Controllership team. This role will be responsible for supporting the accounting and reporting Venue accounting (balance sheet, P&L, and cash flows), ensuring the accuracy of key accounts and strengthening internal controls around reporting. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with a continuous-improvement mindset and comfort operating in a multi-entity or complex organizational structure.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
CPA strongly preferred
3-5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, including consolidation and financial reporting
Strong understanding of GAAP, consolidations and general ledger accounting principles
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) preferred
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query); experience with BI reporting tools a plus
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Prior public accounting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes across our venue operations
Ensure intercompany transactions, eliminations, and balances are accurately recorded and reconciled
Ensure credit card transactions are recorded timely and accurately
Support the preparation of reporting packages to venue finance and accounting teams
Reconcile key balance sheet accounts (e.g., cash, intercompany, fixed assets, accruals) on a monthly basis, including assisting in accounts receivable and inventory reserves
Reconcile P&L accounts to identify, investigate, and resolve variances or discrepancies
Partner cross-functionally to ensure timely clearing of reconciling items
Leverage technology (e.g., ERP systems, consolidation software, Power BI/Tableau, Power Query) to automate reporting and strengthen data integrity
Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance analytics capabilities and support data-driven decision-making
Support internal and external audit requests related to reporting and controls.
