BDC Laboratories: Our Mission Biomedical Device Consultants & Laboratories (www.bdclabs.com) is a fast-growing company that offers comprehensive medical device testing services, designs verification test equipment, and produces silicone mock vessels to the medical device community in support of domestic and international regulatory submissions and approvals. Our primary focus is cardiovascular technologies such as endovascular stents, prosthetic heart valves, and catheters. What it's like to be a Senior Accountant at Senior Accountant Step into the world of numbers at BDC Laboratories as a Senior Accountant, where your expertise will shape our financial landscape! In this exciting role, you’ll prepare and review journal entries, conduct General Ledger reconciliations, and craft precise financial statements. As you perform monthly reconciliations and allocations of prepaid and accrued expenses, your analytical prowess will support strategic decision-making that drives our success. You’ll also collect and analyze operational data, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and provide vital documentation during audits. Your insights will enhance internal controls and streamline SOPs, while mentoring junior accountants to foster a culture of excellence. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance required
  • 5+ years in accounting preferably cost accounting and inventory experience
  • High degree of expertise with MS Office applications in particular Excel
  • Proactive problem solver who can work collaboratively with teammates both in person and remotely
  • Experience with month end close and execution on tight timelines
  • Comfortable working with large data sets including imports reconciliations and exception analysis
  • Experience supporting audits including preparation of schedules and responding to auditor inquiries, revenue recognition, and a strong understanding of GAAP.

  • CPA or CMA certification a plus
