Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Property Management Accounting experience
Knowledge of general accounting policies, procedures and software
Intermediate level knowledge of Excel
Experience with Netsuite
Demonstrate ability to multi-task and to manage multiple priorities
Willingness to wear multiple hats
Ability to work independently, be self-directed and self-motivated
Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Responsibilities

Day-to-day general accounting oversight, including AP/AR, cash management
Prepare standard monthly journal entries, consistent with GAAP requirements
Assist in annual tax preparation and work with tax accountants
Actively participate with policies and procedure documentation and maintenance
Prepare monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts
Prepare monthly financials within month end close process
Perform account analysis and reconciliation with project managers
Prepare management reports including job cost reports, monthly financials and as needed reports
Prepares monthly pay application packages, ensuring subcontractor compliance and submission to banks
