We’re looking for a candidate who is a future leader with a focus on innovation and teammate engagement and transformational activities. The candidate will be highly detailed orientated and have a commitment to drive efficiencies throughout the financial reporting function to enhance the monthly close-to-report cycle as well as the internal controls over financial reporting and consistently deliver high quality financial data to key stakeholders in a timely fashion. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 2 – 3 years in public accounting and/or with a public company preferred
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, management, analytical, decision-making and research skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task accordingly in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and Word.
  • Experience with JD Edwards, Essbase, Blackline

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • CPA or CPA candidate

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the centralized accounting for the homebuilding revenue and cash transaction cycles by: Assist with General Accounting, Fixed Assets, Leases, Homebuilding & Inventory, Accruals, and Allocations processes.
  • Prepare accounting transactions and maintain records, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with US GAAP.
  • Support month ‑ end, quarter ‑ end, and year ‑ end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in the design and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to drive efficiency and accuracy in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by compiling schedules, documentation, and responses under supervision.
  • Support end-to-end process optimization and automation initiatives that measurably improve operational efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support system enhancements, workflow automation, and data quality improvements.
  • Assist in developing cross-functional relationships with stakeholders, including FP&A, Procurement, Operations, Treasury, Internal Audit, and other business partners.
