About The Position
MATRIC is an award winning contract electronics manufacturer celebrating our 50th anniversary and the great team of people who make up our workforce. We offer products and services in Engineering, PCB Assembly and Aftermarket products to support a diverse group of markets. The Senior level Accountant will support Matric by understanding customer needs and their respective job duties. The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining the general accounting functions of the company, as assigned, in order to meet and satisfy current and future company requirements. The role also provides analysis and reporting to help management monitor costs, inventory, and overall financial performance.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Arts or Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting.
- At least two years practical experience in accounting profession.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a manufacturing/cost accounting environment is desired.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger accounting, cost analysis, inventory and fixed asset management, audit support, month-end closing, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
- Provides analysis and reporting to help management monitor costs, inventory, and overall financial performance.
