About The Position

RMP is a progressive and people-focused firm of business advisory professionals and proudly the largest independently owned accounting firm in Southwestern Ontario. We deliver a comprehensive suite of services, including audit and assurance, accounting and bookkeeping, tax planning and compliance, and management consulting, helping our clients navigate complex business challenges with confidence. As a result of continued growth, we are currently seeking multiple Senior-level professionals across all service lines, including Tax, Audit/Assurance, Client Advisory Services (CAS), and Inbound Advisory Services. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and client-focused professional looking to further develop their career within a collaborative and high-performing team environment. This role offers flexibility, with the option to work onsite, hybrid or fully remote.

Requirements

  • CPA designation (required or in progress depending on level of experience)
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or professional services
  • Strong technical knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Tax, Audit/Assurance, Client Advisory Services, or Inbound Advisory Services
  • Experience reviewing and preparing client deliverables within your service line
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and client service orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Interest or enrollment in the In-depth Tax course through CPA (Tax focus)
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Manage client assignments from planning through completion, including timelines, task delegation, progress monitoring, and proactive issue resolution
  • Review and finalize client deliverables, ensuring technical accuracy, quality, and compliance with firm and regulatory requirements
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact
  • Identify risks, issues, and value-add opportunities, driving improvements to client outcomes, processes, and potential service expansion
  • Coach and supervise junior team members, providing clear direction, real-time guidance, and ongoing feedback to support development
  • Collaborate with Managers, Partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes and escalate key matters as needed
  • Promote a collaborative, high-performing team environment, sharing knowledge and contributing to continuous improvement
