About The Position

Swift Navigation is hiring a Senior Accountant to support the full accounting cycle, including month-end close, reconciliations, payroll, customer invoicing and collections, and consolidation across global entities. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the role also supports audit, tax and statutory compliance, and helps administer NetSuite. The company seeks a detail-oriented accountant who takes ownership, builds effective working relationships, takes initiative, and brings strong organizational and communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.

Nice To Haves

• CPA preferred but not required.
• Prior audit experience preferred.
• Experience with FloQast, NetSuite, Drivetrain, and Zenskar.
• Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting firm experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly accruals and support the full-cycle month-end close.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly flux analysis.
• Record monthly statutory entries for international entities and support consolidation.
• Prepare monthly payroll journal entries and process US payroll.
• Liaise with statutory accounting firms on payroll, bank reconciliations, and related entries.
• Prepare customer invoices and manage collections.
• Book partner revenue share entries and prepare related reporting.
• Prepare reporting for external parties such as banks and customers.
• Record GST and sales tax return entries, and assist the Corporate Controller in preparing tax filings with the external tax firm.
• Support the annual audit, including preparing PBCs and driving audit readiness.
• Support tax return preparation, including preparing PBCs.
• Assist the Corporate Controller with NetSuite system administration.
• Take on ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Corporate Controller.
