About The Position

Senior Accountant This is a hybrid role that must be in the Greenwood Village, CO office three days per week Project Resources Group (PRG) is currently searching for a Senior Accountant in our Greenwood Village, CO office. This role will play a critical role in managing the company’s cash operations, corporate card programs, and high-volume financial data processes. The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and delivering insightful analysis in a fast-paced, service-based environment. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to manage and reconcile large datasets across multiple systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or commensurate accounting experience; CPA or CMA a plus.
  • Four (4) to seven (7) years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on A/R, A/P, & Cash Management.
  • Deep working knowledge of GAAP.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of the balance sheet and P&L.
  • Ability to analyze and reconcile large amounts of data.
  • Possess the ability to be resourceful and take initiative in a time of need.
  • High technical aptitude and the proven ability to successfully communicate and discuss technical subjects.
  • Professional maturity and high emotional intelligence; displaying modesty, conscientiousness, goal focus, professional curiosity, and determination to succeed!
  • Communicate and present successfully to a wide range of audiences.
  • Willingness to travel, as needed. Travel is rare; up to 5% of time.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee cash activity across multiple bank accounts, including daily transaction monitoring, reconciliations, cash journal entries, and intercompany or operational fund transfers.
  • Provide cash flow analysis and reporting.
  • Own and manage the end-to-end corporate card program, including card issuance, account administration, expense review and approval, monthly payment processing, and account reconciliation.
  • Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and maintenance of the fixed asset ledger.
  • Support month-end close activities, including expense allocations, accruals, and preparation of journal entries.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Participate in internal financial reviews with the ability to speak to the numbers.
  • Play an integral role in supporting the continual growth of the company through projects, process improvement/implementation, etc.
  • Support audit requests and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
  • Follow all employee guidelines, policies, rules and management direction.
  • Other duties as assigned.
