The Senior Accountant is a disciplined, detail-oriented professional who manages the financial narrative of the business. The Senior Accountant will manage the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, assist with the month-end close process, prepare financial reports, maintain GAAP standards and internal controls, monitor daily bank activity, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with leadership on financial insights.

Requirements

3+ years of experience managing the 'Full Cycle' of accounting (from AP/AR through Financial Reporting)
2+ years of experience using QuickBooks Online
Ability to be comfortable working under tight deadlines to ensure processes and procedures are completed on time

Responsibilities

Take total responsibility for the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Assist the month-end close process with speed and precision, ensuring all reconciliations are flawless.
Prepare and present accurate Balance Sheets, P&L Statements, and Cash Flow reports to leadership.
Maintain strict adherence to GAAP standards and internal controls to protect company assets.
Monitor daily bank activity and manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal financial flow.
Collaborate with leadership to provide data-driven insights for budgeting, forecasting, and growth goals.
