Requirements

BA or BS in accounting or related discipline required
2+ years of accounting experience under US GAAP
1+ years of Cloud-based accounting software experience (Oracle Fusion is a plus)
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including experience using VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and pivot tables.
Deep understanding and practical application of accrual accounting principles under US GAAP.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes.
Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong project management skills.
Proficient in time management with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate financial concepts clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Participate in monthly and quarterly close-related activities including the preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses.
Support the management of lease accounting schedules in compliance with ASC 842, including processing routine expirations, renewals, and period-end adjustments.
Maintain and update corporate debt schedules for various debt instruments and credit facilities, including tracking interest accruals and fee calculations, as assigned.
Oversee or support the fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization reviews, depreciation tracking, roll-forwards, and retirement processing in accordance with corporate policy.
Prepare disclosure schedules for quarterly and annual financial filings.
Partner with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Tax, Internal Audit, and Legal to streamline financial workflows and solve operational challenges.
Participate in departmental projects and initiatives.
