Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills (vLookups, Pivot Tables, SUMIFs)
• Proven analytical and problem-solving ability
• Experience preparing and resolving account reconciliations
• High attention to detail, confidentiality, and ethical standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to take ownership

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP
• Perform monthly balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
• Prepare work papers and supporting documentation for external auditors and tax firms
• Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and ERP maintenance (Sage)
• Assist with general ledger transactions within the McLeod system
• Create and maintain desktop procedures for all accounting processes
• Prepare monthly/quarterly sales commissions and incentive-based compensation metrics
• Support data analytics and process-improvement initiatives
• Work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
