Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
4+ years’ experience in corporate or public accounting
Fixed asset experience
Strong GAAP knowledge
Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, and proven ability to learn new technology systems and work with large data sets
Proven organizational skills; detail oriented; and excellent communication skills
Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end close process
Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions.
Works independently; needing minimal guidance.

Nice To Haves

CPA
Background working with modern technology solutions, such as cloud-based ERP systems, business intelligence tools like PowerBI, and leveraging AI to drive process automation.
Experience and knowledge of ASC 842 lease accounting

Responsibilities

Ownership of fixed asset, project, and lease accounting, working with business partners to ensure accuracy of accounting records.
Reporting and analysis of fixed assets and projects in process.
Prepare journal entries, analysis, and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP. Including fixed assets, intangibles, projects in process, and lease accounts.
Provide accounting support to field operations and other corporate departments.
May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives
Other duties as assigned
