About The Position

The Senior Accountant position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a preference for CPA or equivalent certification. The role involves utilizing various IT systems, including Microsoft Office 365, and requires proficiency in accounting principles (GAAP), accounting software, and ERP systems. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations (GAAP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.
• Ability to speak, read and write the English language.

Nice To Haves

• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience and proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and become proficient with IT systems used by Beacon Specialized Living Services (BSLS), including Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive), and any future deployed or changed systems.
• Apply strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations (GAAP).
• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems.
• Interpret complex financial data using excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ensure exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate cross-functionally, presenting financial information to stakeholders.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring abilities, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
