About The Position

This Senior Accountant position is responsible for leading accurate and timely recognition of revenue (subscription, licensing, in-game purchases, etc.) per ASC 606. The role involves participating in the month-end closing process by posting journal entries to the general ledger, assisting in the preparation of revenue schedules, forecasts, and KPIs, performing variance analyses, and preparing account reconciliations. The Senior Accountant will also assist with financial and tax audits, ensure compliance with internal controls and audit processes related to revenue recognition and tax obligations, and coordinate complex accounting projects with other teams. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of diverse experience in the accounting field
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606, sales taxes, VAT regulations, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, lookups, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP or IFRS standards.
• Well-developed communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred or working toward certification.
• gaming industry experience preferred.
• Sage Intacct experience a plus.
