About The Position

Nienhuis Financial Group is a rapidly growing accounting firm providing fractional and managerial accounting services to small businesses with revenues of $1 million to $75 million, including manufacturing, service, and nonprofit organizations. The Senior Accountant will serve a key role with clients, overseeing accounting operations and ensuring financial compliance. The ideal candidate has a strong managerial accounting background and can anticipate needs, solve problems, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, including forecasting and budgeting, developing finance procedures, overseeing and reviewing month- and year-end close, and managing accounting records accurately and on time.
• Exceptional project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proven communication skills and a customer service mindset.
• Ability to navigate numerous software programs and systems with minimal instructions.
• A foundation of accounting excellence.
