About The Position
Our Vancouver or Langley office is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team. This role involves efficiently preparing year-end engagements and tax returns for clients across various industries, preparing personal income tax returns, and handling compilation engagements. The Senior Accountant will also build positive working relationships with clients, respond effectively to their requests and suggestions, and communicate progress updates and issues with team members on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in the public accounting industry
- Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
- Display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Knowledge of accounting policies
Responsibilities
- Efficiently prepare year-end engagements and tax returns for your clients across various industries
- Preparation of personal income tax returns
- Effectively handle compilation engagements
- Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to request and suggestions
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
