About The Position

The Senior Accountant follows company accounting processes to perform and manage general accounting duties. Responsibilities may include management, training, oversight, and administration of tasks related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, ticket collection, invoice reconciliation, data entry, payroll, and other administrative accounting duties. The role is with Ferrovial Construction-Webber 99.

Requirements

Five years of experience with progressive responsibility in similar accounting positions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Exposure to accounting software.

Nice To Haves

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Review, reconcile, and enter items received into the accounting system.
Manage and direct accountants’ duties and tasks related to department functions.
Prepare reports at various intervals and frequencies showing departmental, project, or company accounting metrics.
Prepare, review, and/or audit budgets.
Ensure the accuracy of accounting entries and reports.
Communicate with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and other entities to provide information and answer questions related to accounting activities.
May manage, train, oversee, or administer accounts receivable, accounts payable, ticket collection, invoice reconciliation, data entry, payroll, and other administrative accounting tasks.
