About The Position
This position will assist the CFO in daily accounting responsibilities, including reviewing A/P, A/R, Payroll, Insurance, G/L functions, and reconciliations. The candidate will need to learn the various businesses that comprise Jones Legacy Ventures to identify financial improvements from both an operations and financial structure perspective. The candidate will need to have the ability and potential to grow into the CFO role in the future.
Requirements
- BS degree in Accounting.
- 5 plus years of accounting or finance experience
- Good communication skills
- Good leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Responsible for general ledger account review and analysis.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget.
- Prepare various general ledger journal entries.
- Review/research financial data.
- Review A/P, A/R, Payroll responsibilities.
